<h6>Clearing an activity</h6>
You can clear an activity, which marks it as completed, record the results of the activity, and schedule a follow-up activity. When you clear an activity, ACT! automatically creates a history record in the contact record associated with the activity. To clear an activity:

<LI>Tap the activity that you want to clear. You can select the activity from the Activities tab in the Contact view, from the calendars, or from the Task List.
<LI>From the Contact menu, choose Clear Activity. The Clear Activity dialog box appears.
<LI>From the Regarding drop-down list, select an option or type a description of the activity.
<LI>Select an option from the Result drop-down list.
<LI>(Optional) Tap Follow Up and schedule a follow-up activity with that contact or group. When you have finished scheduling your follow-up activity, the Clear Activity dialog box reappears.
<LI>Tap OK when you have completed setting options in the Clear Activity dialog box.
